A portal to then, is a collection which is meant to show how the world used to be before many of us were born. The collection has no main inspiration apart from me wanting to show the world which has been left untouched by modernisation, or to show a contrast between what is old and what is new.

The concept of urbanisation is to allow a country, a group of people to move further, evolve and improve upon older technology. But because time is a limitation for all that live, the process of urbanisation had to sped up, and thanks to things like Brutalist architecture which were easy and practical to produce.
